Solution Focused Hypnotherapy

Solution Focused Hypnotherapy is a gentle, modern approach that combines neuroscience with elements of Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Positive Psychology and Hypnotherapy.

With the Solution Focused approach, we don’t need to discuss the history of the issue, or even too much of the issue itself; we look at where you are, where you want to be, and how you are going to get there.  During the Initial Consultation we discuss what you will want to achieve from the sessions – how you would know that our sessions together had been a success – and we work collaboratively to establish goals to reach that success.

A large part of the Solution Focused approach is the explanation of how the Brain works; I explain how the parts of the brain work in relation to the issue; many clients comment on how enlightening it is to understand just why they are feeling as they are.

I will also provide an audio download.  My approach is quite holistic; the audio download will help with sleep issues, which will assist with addressing stress and anxiety issues which will also assist with other anxiety -related issues.
